Friday Outdoor Preschool Sessions (Ages 4-5)

A Preschool Experience Designed for the Outdoors

Children will engage in meaningful learning through movement, exploration, and guided activities - building foundational skills while staying active and connected to the natural world.

Each session is intentionally designed to support:

• Early literacy and language development

• Foundational math skills

• Scientific thinking and curiosity

• Fine motor development

• Confidence and independence

Two Focused Sessions - Enroll in One or Both

Each session focuses on a different area of early learning. Together, they provide a well-rounded outdoor preschool experience.

Session 1: Letters, Sounds & Fine Motor

Outdoor Preschool: Language & Literacy Foundations

Children will explore:

• Letter recognition and beginning sounds

• Early writing and fine motor skills

• Hands-on activities connected to nature

Each week includes a simple take-home piece so families can see their child’s growth.

Session 2: Numbers, Math & Science

Outdoor Preschool: Thinking, Counting & Discovery

Children will explore:

• Counting and number recognition

• Sorting, patterns, and comparison

• Observation, prediction, and simple science concepts

Each week includes take-home materials that reflect what children are learning.

Program Details

• Ages: 4y0m to 5y3m

• Location: Oak Ridge Nature School (outdoor setting)

• Weather: Fully outdoors in safe conditions

• Group Size: Limited to maintain a small, focused learning environment

Tuition

• $250 per session (5 weeks)

• $480 for both sessions

Tuition includes all materials and take-home learning pieces.

How Enrollment Works

We are currently accepting registrations to form a small group for this program.

• A minimum of 8 children is required for the session to run

• Once enrollment is met, families will be notified

• Payment will be collected after confirmation
